Need help with Budget Calendar & Cash Flow, found a problem, or have an idea?

We read every message and usually reply within a few days. To help us fix a problem quickly, please include:

your device model and operating system version,
the app version (shown in the app's About screen),
what you did, what you expected and what happened instead.

You can also use Send feedback in the app's More > About screen, which opens an email with the app version already filled in.

Common questions

Where is my data stored?

On your device, in the app's private storage. The app has no account and no server. If you back up your device, the backup includes it. Deleting the app deletes it.

How does the forecast work?

Start from the balance you know is right today, add your income and expenses (one-off or recurring), cards and debts, and the app projects your balance for every day ahead. Days below your safety buffer turn yellow; days below zero turn red. Set the buffer and the horizon in More > Safety buffer and More > Forecast ahead.

Which statement files can I import?

CSV exports and PDF statements from supported banks. Open the file with the app from Files, Mail or AirDrop, or use More > Import bank statement. Rows already imported are skipped, and payments that match your recurring items or plans are linked so nothing counts twice. If your bank's file isn't recognised, email us a sample with personal details removed and we'll look at adding it.

How do I change the currency?

More > Currency. Amounts keep their numbers; only the symbol and formatting change.

How do I change what the app shares?

Open More > Privacy and switch Analytics, Crash reports, Performance or Notifications on or off. The app works with all of them off.

How do I delete my data?

Open More > Privacy > Delete my data. It resets the IDs that link the app's statistics and reports to your installation, and turns every switch off. The Privacy Policy explains what happens to data already sent. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device.

How do I rate the app?

Open More > About > Rate on the App Store. The row appears once Budget is on the App Store.
